The jar was wheel-thrown with a porcelain slip and soda-fired in a kiln to cone 10. The jar&#39;s exterior is a solid brown color with a rough, uneven, earthy texture throughout. The jar&#39;s interior is a cream-like, off-white color. The interior of the jar also has the same rough, earthy texture as the exterior which contributes to the varied, random shading of the white and brown colors throughout. The two differing colors provide a striking contrast.",

The rest of the jar has a gray, earthy, textured surface.",
