Sally Finch believes information is as rich in material as religion, politics, social issues and the natural world. By manipulating scale, color, and composition of the data, Finch’s work provides commentary beyond the data points themselves, inviting the viewer to examine the information on a more personal level. The work also investigates the power of numbers and quantification and how they can manipulate our view of art, ourselves and the world.
