Ron Nagle

Ron Nagle received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from San Francisco State University in 1961. He was hired by Peter Voulkos as a studio assistant at University of California, Berkeley. Throughout the 1960s and 70s he taught at institutions in the San Francisco Bay area, including the San Francisco Art Institute, the California College of Arts and Crafts, and California State University, Hayward. In 1978, Nagle took over the prominent ceramics program at Mills College in Oakland, California where he remained until his retirement in 2010.
