Billy Al Bengston

American, (1934–2022)

Billy Al Bengston was born in Dodge City, Kansas in 1934. He attended Los Angeles City College, California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California, and Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles. He exhibited at the Ferus gallery and is associated with the Finish Fetish and Pattern and Decoration art movements. He currently splits his time between residences in Los Angeles and Honolulu, Hawaii.
