Tod Papageorge

American, b. 1940

Tod Papageorge was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1940. He attended the University of New Hampshire. Papageorge became a Professor of Photography at Yale Art School and taught until 2013. He has been exhibited in many museums such as the Art Institute of Chicago; The Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris; The Moderna Museet in Stockholm; The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston; The Museum of Modern Art in New York; and The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
