Twain Tippetts

American, (1917–2000)


Twain Tippetts was born in Desert, Utah in 1917. He attended Snow College before going to Brigham Young University. Tippetts taught at the College of Southern Utah at Cedar City before becoming the director of the Fine Arts Center at Utah State University in Logan,Utah. He was also the keeper and curator, and director of the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art. He died in Logan, Utah in 2000.
