Frank Edward Ackerman

American, (1933–1986)

Frank Edward Ackerman was born in Glendale, California in 1933. He studied at Chouinard Art Institute where he started to specialize in watercolor paintings. He exhibited at the California Watercolor Society, and in 1970 became president of the society. He was in the army for several years and had a series of paintings for the Naval History Art Collection.
