Andrew Hofmeister

American, (1913–2007)

Andrew Hofmeister created watercolor paintings that captured the landscape of the Inland Northwest. Raised in Montana, Hofmeister served as a professor of art at Washington State University in Pullman, Eastern Washington from 1947 to 1978. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Montana in Missoula in 1938. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Washington State University in 1947.
