David Askevold

Canadian, (1940–2008)

David Askevold was born in Montana in 1940. He attended the University of Montana, the Brooklyn Museum Art School, and the Kansas City Art Institute. In 1968, he began teaching at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. He has exhibited at the National Gallery of Canada and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Askevold died in Hallifax, Nova Scotia in 2008.
