Jack Zajac

American, b. 1929

Jack Zajac was born in Youngstown, Ohio, in 1929. He attended Scripps College in Claremont, California and the American Academy in Rome where he decided to do sculptures. Zajac was Artist in Residence at the American Academy in Rome, Dartmouth College and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Although he retired from teaching at the University of California, Santa Cruz, he continues to create sculptures at his home in California.
