American, (1910–2006)
Theodore M. Wassmer was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1910. He attended the Art Students League in both New York City and Woodstock. Due to lack of funds, Wassmer dropped out of school and started working at an engraving and printing company. He enlisted in the army in 1942 but was discharged when his arm became paralyzed. He died in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2006.
