Todd Walker

American, (1917–1998)


Todd Walker was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1917. He started his career at the age of sixteen as a painter’s apprentice for RKO studios. After World War II, he started his own photography studio in Los Angeles California. He also taught at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, the University of California, Los Angeles, and Cal State Northridge. Walker was recommended as a replacement professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville where he worked for seven years. The University of Arizona at Tucson sought out the artist and he worked there until his retirement in 1987.
