Ger Van Elk

Ger van Elk was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1941. He attended the University of Groningen before moving to America to work. Between the years 1959 and 1988 he worked in Los Angeles, California, and New York before moving back to Amsterdam. He worked with sculptures, painted photographs, and did installations and film. He died at his home in Amsterdam in 2014.
