American, b. 1951
John Valadez was born in Los Angeles, California in 1951. He attended the University of Colorado, California State University, in Long Beach and the Yale School of Art. His work is focused mostly on photo-real objects, interiors and murals. Valadez was a founding member of the Public Arts Center in Highland Park, California.
