Canadian, b. 1933
Marjorie Tomchuk was born in Canada in 1933. She attended the University of Michigan and Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. She worked at the Pratt Graphics Center, before setting up a fully equipped studio in New York City, New York. In 1970, she moved to Connecticut where she became an independent artist producing self-published editions of her graphic work. Tomchuk has exhibited in galleries throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada, Mexico and Japan.
