Edmund Teske

American, (1911–1996)

Edmund Teskewas born in Chicago, Illinois in 1911. He was an assistant at a studio in Chicago and he taught at the New Bauhaus Institute of Design in Chicago. He moved to California where he worked at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles. Teske also had his own studio where he taught workshops and mentored both younger and older photographers. He died in his studio in Los Angeles, California in 1996.
