Ronald L. Bergen was born in Mesa, Arizona in 1936. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Uruguay and Paraguay, and later served in the Army National Guard. He obtained a Master's degree in Fine Arts and he died in Mesa, Arizona in 2021.
