American, (1897–1986)
Reuben Nakian was born in College Point, New York in 1897. He attended the Independent School of Art, the Robert Henri School, and the Art Students League of New York. His works are exhibited in museums such as the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Honolulu Museum of Art, and the DeCordova Museum of Art and Sculpture Park. Nakian died in Stamford, Connecticut in 1986.
