Wanda Miller Matthews

American, (1930–2001)

Wanda Miller Matthews was born in Barry, IL, September 15, 1930. She received her BFA from Bradley University in 1952 and her MFA in printmaking from the University of Iowa in 1957. From 1957 to 1960 she lived and worked in Rome. She established a studio in Boulder, CO, where she lived for many years. Matthews' art has received numerous awards and been acquired by the Library of Congress among other institutions. Matthews died November 24, 2001.
